November 2015 poll

The Committee commissioned another poll in November 2015 to gauge public sentiment six months after the start of the campaign. A strong majority 59% believes Michigan should ban fracking and frack wastes before the industry creates health problems for residents. An even larger majority- 66%- wants to ban frack waste in Michigan. See full results here. 

May 2015 poll

Gallup poll

A 2017 Gallup poll showed that 53% of people in the US oppose fracking and only 35% favor it, and 12% have no opinion, which is up from a 40-40 split in a Gallup poll just two years earlier. For poll results click here.
